Scrappy EMT Theme:Embellishments

Hello, Welcome to Scrappy EMT's Theme day:Embellishments. For today's theme we are to use our favorite embellishments  may it be glitter, rhinestones, lace, twine, etc. I made a layout today for my mom.  She loves black and white. For today's project I made a 12x12 layout that I will frame in a shadowbox for her. I used all my favorite embellishments and I think she will love it. I hope you do too.

To make this layout I used the paper pack from GCD Studios called Paris Nights. I bought the lace trim at Walmart for 98 cents and used glimmer mist in Nougat to give it a vintage look. I had some Gemstone paper on hand from the Recollections collection. I cute my circles out from Cricut sophisticated. I believe the glitter circle is at 10.50 and the paper circle is 10. I cut my roses from Cricut Art Philosophy at 4". Before I rolled my roses I inked the edges. The cream paper was inked with black and the black paper was inked with Moonlight White. Moonlight White is from the Brillance ink by Tsukinkeo. They  look like tear drops. Anyways I got those inks from Joann's. The pearls in the middle of the white roses are actually colored with a black perm. marker. I did use pearls around the paper in the middle and those are strings of pearls with adhesive on the back from Hobby Lobby. you will need 2 packs of pearls. Glitter paper was from Hobby Lobby as well.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and thanks for stopping by.

Amy Jo's Birthday Bash & Blog Hop

Good morning, fabulous friends and welcome to Amy Jo's Birthday Bash & Blog Hop! We are so excited you could join us today to help celebrate Amy's birthday!

This is a very special unique hop as we were not required to just stick with one particular subject or theme. Amy asked us all to use any of her favorite things to create a card or project with that in mind. Some examples of Amy's favorite things are the colors black, white, and hot pink, along with anything Alice in Wonderland, she listed some of her favorite animals, etc!

If you arrived here from Liz - http://tryin2craft.blogspot.com then you are in the right place! If you just happened upon my blog today, please start at the beginning with Amy  Jo http://lv2scrapandfibrofacts.blogspot.com because you don't want to miss out on the fabulous prizes that are being sponsored!

This is a two-day hop; however, we are only making one project. That should give you two full days to go through the entire hop and leave comments on each blog and become followers of each blog, if you are not already, to be entered to win some of our sponsored prizes! Some blogs may be offering blog candy as well so this is a hop you're gonna wanna finish!

For Amy's birthday I created a Tumbler for her using some Zebra Vinyl. I think it came out really cute and I can't wait to send this to her. I added her name but did it on an angle. I think its adorable and different. I also made a cute little pink and zebra cupcake card. (for directions and sizing on this card I have this card posted  below from a different day).

Thank you so much for joining us and helping us celebrate along with Amy! Your next stop is the talented Jamie - http://scrapqueen141.blogspot.com/

Erica's Craftroom Theme Day

Welcome, today over at Erica's Craftroom the theme for today is Wedding. Today I made a layout from my own wedding. It was a fun layout to do as this involved a cake fight. Who doesn't love cake fights at weddings. A little background why this is so funny to us is, I made it clear no cake fight would happen. Then when the time came I figured I'd give him a little cake in the face, I should of known he'd get me back. I hope you enjoyed my layout for today.

To make this layout I used Lyrical Letters to make the word "Cake" my letters were about 2". I then used Art Philosophy to make cut out my pictures and the border. the border is 11.21x7.45 and I used the scallop border on Art Philosophy and welded 2 of them together. I'm waiting on some embellishments to arrive in the mail to finish off this layout they aren't here yet. (for the border I embossed it with the cuttlebug folder swiss dots)
Make sure you stop at My Cricut Craft Room to see more projects like this today!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Erica's Craft Room Card Creating Tuesday

My Cricut Craft Room

Hello Everyone, today over at Erica's Craft Room is Card Creating Tuesdays! For today's project I created a heart shaped Valentine's day card. I used Art Philosophy and Sweethearts. I just love these two cars together.

to make this card I took 2 blackout scalloped hearts (6") from Sweet hearts and welded them together in CCR. next I took another heart  pink (5") and layered it over the card. I then cut out a cupid at 3" from Sweethearts in red and white shimmer paper. The final cart was CTMH Art Philosophy the red rose is at 3.5" and the cream rose is at 2.5". I wanted some bling so i broke out my hotfix rhinestones and put them around the heart. In the middle of the red rose is a pearl I had on hand and in the cream rose I used liquid Pearls in Bisque. The finishing touch I used a SU stamp for the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. Please go to http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to see what other wonderful projects were made this Tuesday!

For today's project I made this scrapbook page for a shadowbox. I used Teresa Collins Sophisticated and Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridges.

This is the completed photo and I love the way it came out.
To make this I first started out with cutting my glitter circle at I believe 91/4 using TC Sophisticated. (apologize for not having the exact measurements my gypsy broke on me this week and I had it all saved.)
I cut out my second circle I believe at 71/2 or 81/2 and then I embellished it with pearls from Hobby Lobby they are 2.99 a package and you get quite a bit.

I did embellish the corners of with some bling I had on hand.

The Cream Roses are from Art Philosophy as well as the pink ones. The Cream are cut at 4" the Pink at 31/2"

Memories is cut from TC Sophisticated and that was cut at 10". I used black vinyl and placed it on the outside glass. (Make sure to clean the glass really well before placing vinyl on glass.)

The paper I used for this layout is by Teresa Collins called Timeless. The glitter paper is more of a metal color I bought at Michaels. Cream and Pink paper is from Michaels and was from a Valentines pack from last year.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and thanks for stopping by your now off to see Christina
