Jan 18th Celebrations

Hi Everyone, Sorry this post is late I've had problems with Blogger not letting me log in. I'm glad I'm able to finally share with you my project. I knew exactly what to make for Celebrations!  My daughter's birthday is next month but we aren't having her party until its warmer out. I made her birthday banner a few months a head of time of her party so I'm not rushing like last year.

The cartridges used to make this banner are all from Art Philosophy. I cut the scallop penant at 8" and the Triangle at 7". I made my rosette using my MS scoreboard. The scallop is cut at 3". The gold letters are glitter chipboard I bought at M's last year on clearance. I wanted it to be pretty girly so I added gems to my banner also those are tear drops from M's.

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Scrappy EMT Design Team Introduction!

Hello and Welcome to my crafty corner. I want to thank Audrey for having me on her Design Team and look forward to working with some very crafty women. One of our design team members can't be with us today as her son is very ill. Please pray for Melissa Pinter and her 2 year old son Ethan. They are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs and lots of prayers their way.

For today's project I made a Valentine's Day wreath using the new Close To My Heart cartridge Art Philosophy.

Close up of roses.
What you will need to create roses..

To make this wreath I cut out about 150 roses at 3.50 and rolled them using a quiling tool. Can be purchased at your local hobby store. I used Alene's Tacky glue to hold my roses in place. I did buy pearl sewing pins from Walmart and stuck it right through the middle to hold my roses in place on the wreath. I did ink the edges of my roses using red and light pink on cream paper.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today's project.

Red, Brown or Pink!

My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome today's theme for Erica's Craft Room is Red, Brown or Pink. I made a layout today using a few different cartridges. I had an idea in my head for what I wanted to do and just ran with it. I really like how it came out too.

To make this project here is what you will need:
your choose of pattern paper (mine was from Joann's)
glitter paper (mine is from hobby lobby)
Shimmer paper your choice of color ( I used recollections)
ribbon (pink ribbon was from Walmart)
ATG gun
Glue Dots
Zig Glue Pen
Stampin Up pop up glue dots
Cricut cartridges used: Cricut Alphabet ( Love AE2), Desinger's Calender (Be Mine), Art Philosophy (font),  Sweet Hearts (Cupid), Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (Pocket Tag).
Gypsy

I designed my photos where I wanted to them to be, since I like to mat my photos I then took a piece of scrap paper to measure out a 4x6 photo mat. Then I added ribbon and made sure it was pretty loose so that when I do add my photos I won't have a problem. I used glue dots on the back of the paper to hold the ribbon in place. Next I cut out my cupid from Cricut Sweet Hearts cartridge at 2.99 and the Shadow feature is 3.12. I used Stampin Up dimensionals to give it a popped up look. I did this for all my cuts besides my pocket folder. Next I cut out my heart Be Mine from Designer's Calendar at 3.90. Since this heart doesn't have a shadow feature I created one using my Gypsy. What I did is I hid the cuts and lined it up I believe the cut is 4.20. My pocket folder was a pocket tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I cut my pocket tag at 4.02. Then using my scraps I cut 10- 3/4"w x4"h to make my pull out tabs. Using the cluster of hearts on Sweet Hearts I used those to add the numbers as a pull tab I used  my zig pen to glue all those little small pieces together. For the wording 10 Things I Love About You I created that using Art Philosophy Font and Cricut Alphabet for the word Love. These were all cut out at 1.00 and .75.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed everyone's projects today!
