Congrats AMYJROCKSTAR I'll be getting a hold of you shortly so I can send this out to you!!!! Thank you everyone for joining me and all the lovely ladies on this Christmas in July blog hop.

I used Random.org

My first time glass etching...

I bought this block to make my husbands cousin a personalized gift for her bridal shower. I glass etched it and left it on for a good 30 mins. It  came out pretty good but I wanted it to show more so I added some wax to the glass that I had someone else do. The first picture is just glass etched. The second picture is with wax added to the glass. I hope she likes it! Thanks for looking..

Christmas in July Day 3 7/22-7/25

WELCOME TO THE 3RD DAY IN THIS AWESOME CHRISTMAS IN JULY BLOG HOP!!!

Christmas in July Blog Hop 7/22 – 7/25

Welcome to my first ever Memories in Tyme Christmas in July blog hop!!! After going to my first blog hop recently, I knew I needed to host my own hop this month for people to start to look at Christmas! The economy is hard right now, what better way to save money by making wonderful things for your friends and family instead of spending a ton of money you don’t have! Plus if you spend a bit of time and money each month, things will not be so hard at the end! Everyone has been working really hard on things this month, and we all hope you enjoy all the fun ideas we are sharing with you!!

If you are starting at my blog – make sure you start at the beginning at Lynda’s blog which is http://memoriesintyme.blogspot.com/

For today's project I decided to bust out my ornaments! I LOVE doing ornaments. Last year I made one for each of the grandparents from my daughter and her Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. Awesome gifts and everyone loved them. So This year I'm making SETS a set of 4 and here are some I did. ENJOY!!!!

When I make my ornaments I use Beacon Glitter-It. I found this technique by going to Michaels and watching the demo online. I know some other use Pledge floor wax or something of another. I love my Martha Stewart glitter its the BEST! They look amazing. For the snow flake ornament I bought this package at Michaels for 1.00 and they work great for fake snow. The rhinestone stickers were purchased from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I typically only get them during the summer when they are clearenced out.

My husband decided to paint a ornament for himself while I made the snowflake and snow ornament.

I will be annoucing my blog candy on the last day of the blog hop. Become a follower and leave a comment on each day of the hop that's all you have to do! Look forward to see you tomorrow and enjoy the rest of the hop!!!

For today's project I wanted to make something cute and fun that can be given to anyone a friend, a child, an adult and I really like how this came out. I bought the paper at Joann's and I really liked how BELIEVE popped out at me. I used my Christmas (noel) cricut cartridge to cut out the santa head. Ho Ho Ho Rhinestones are from Hobby Lobby and I had them from last year. The inside of the card is just trimmed in rhinestones. I didn't put a sentiment in it yet as I don't know who I'll be giving it to.

Ok on to my first project of the hop. I made this christmas card for my Mother in Law since she loves angels. I wasn't really sure what to make but I like how it came out. I used my Gypsy to weld together Merry Christmas using Storybook font. I have to say I love that cartridge. The angel is from Christmas Noel which was a free download when I purchased my Gypsy. I bought the gold paper from Michaels and the snow flake paper there too on clearence. I really wish I had more of that but it was a scrap. The cream colored paper for the angel and the shadow for the letters are Bazzil cream shimmer paper.  I really liked how this came out especially with the added HotFix Bling.

Marine Center Pieces

I made these center pieces for a friends mom who's son is leaving for boot camp for the MARINES! I am very happy with how these came out for the party and she says she loves them too. These were soooo time consuming and I'm soooo happy I got them done in time. I honestly didn't think I would. To make these I used A LOT of HOT GLUE. I bought the stars from Hobby Lobby. The mini buckets are from Target, I picked them up for 1.00 each. I love their dollar bin area. I picked up the glitter paper for 25c each at Joann's when they a paper sale. That really saved me a ton of money. The camo paper was from an online military store. The cricut cartridge I used to make these were Stand and Salute. The sayings were from the cartridge and some I did myself using Cricut Classic Font that came with my Expression. I bought the American flags from Target in a 3 pk for 1.00, again I love their dollar section. The Marine flags I bought off Amazon for 63c each. I hope I didn't leave anything out!!! ENJOY! :)

It's a Boy Card

This is a quick card I made for a friend of mine. I really like how this came out and the stork with the baby is just too cute!

The carts I used were:
New Arrival
Classic Cricut Font

Paper was DSWV glitter paper and Hobby Lobby for the blue tiny hands and feet paper. Ribbon from Joann's. Stamp  from Michaels. Rhinestones I already had.

Thanks for looking! :)
